The Federation of Community Legal Centres (the Federation) is a fast-paced and dynamic organisation that seeks to create a fairer Victoria for all members of our community. We are the peak body for Victoria’s Community Legal Centres (CLCs), who are at the forefront of helping those facing economic, cultural or social disadvantage and whose life circumstances are severely affected by legal challenges.
For more than 40 years, CLCs have been part of a powerful movement for social change, reshaping how people access justice, creating stronger, more equitable laws, and more accountable government and democracy.
Our vision is for a community that is fair, inclusive and thriving, where every person belongs and can learn, grow, heal, participate and be heard.
We work with CLCs by enabling a strong collective voice for justice and equality; mobilizing and leading strategic, well-coordinated advocacy campaigns; leading and supporting ongoing learning and evaluation across the sector; and driving creativity and excellence in delivering legal services to communities.
Our workplace is flexible and rewarding for those who can see the bigger picture and who are comfortable working with multiple stakeholders across a range of social issues. We focus on delivering impact and outcomes, we celebrate collective success, and we encourage ongoing learning.
Our staff are driven, collaborative, solution-focused and adaptable. But most of all we share a strong commitment to social justice.
As the Federation goes through a period of positive growth, a key focus continues to be on ensuring the community legal sector is positioned to meet future opportunities and challenges, so we can carry on driving social justice for the Victorian community.
Delivery of a sector wide legal Practice Management System will strengthen the capacity of our 48 member organisations in service planning and provision, client relationship and legal practice management, and measuring the individual and collective impact of legal outcomes.
The new role of Project Manager – Data System will lead the initiation and implementation of a legal Practice Management System across Victorian CLCs to support community legal centres to effectively collect, manage and utilise data and information in consistent, novel and strategic ways.

A natural leader, you value collaboration in the delivery of key outcomes, thrive in driving and delivering projects that support positive social change, and can hit the ground running.
The base salary is $95,000 - $105,000 per annum (pro-rata for part-time), plus annual leave loading, superannuation and generous salary packaging (up to $18,550 pa of your salary tax free).
