About the Role

The Grants and Impact Officer works with our Strategic Impact and Learning Lead and Community Partnerships and Practice Manager across the breadth of the Foundation’s work. The position plays a key role in the Foundation’s strategy – through supporting our partnerships and amplifying community voice and impact to promote community determined responses for wellbeing and collective care.

Key functions

  • Support Partnerships: Assist with grant applications, assessments, and selection processes to ensure alignment with our strategy and values. Help administer grants, agreements and payments, and maintain accurate records.
  • Evaluation and Learning: Contribute to our social impact measurement and learning framework by collecting, recording, and theming data. Support and contribute to the collection of relevant external data and evidence.
  • Communications: Coordinate our internal and external communications, leading social media and website content and contributing to reports, research, summaries and articles to share learnings and insights.
  • Stakeholder Engagement & Collaboration: Develop relationships with partners and sector stakeholders to foster collaboration and shared learning. Contribute to workshops, events, and discussions on best practices in philanthropy and evaluation.

Experience and abilities

This role would be a great fit for someone who has experience in related fields or transferable skills and abilities, holds a strong learning stance, and is looking to join a supportive, inclusive and values-driven workplace.

An interest or understanding of social change, evaluation, mental health, and wellbeing would be a great contribution to this position.

  • Strong written communication skills—confident in capturing and presenting information.
  • Project management skills —able to work across multiple projects and timelines by progressing individual tasks as part of collective goals.
  • A collaborative mindset—enjoys and is able to work alongside others and contribute to team goals.
  • Relational skills—confident in building and holding relationships with people, communities and organisations from diverse backgrounds and sectors
  • Technical skills and experiences - experience with external communications, utilising software e.g. canva, databases etc, and full drivers licence (as the role may involve some travel to regional partners) are highly desirable

The Details

  • Location: Adelaide
  • Employment Type: 0.8 – 1.0 FTE
  • Salary: Salary Package $85 - $100,000 commensurate with experience
    (salary package includes base salary, superannuation, and salary sacrificing benefits)
