ABOUT THE ROLE

Therapists will be working in a diverse range of environments, from client homes to residential aged care facilities and our Office is located just outside the city in Moonee Ponds.

We require our therapists that possess excellent communication skills, demonstrate initiative and are able to work collegially and autonomously.

We pride ourselves in being diverse and cater for flexible working arrangements (i.e. working from home).

ABOUT YOU

A successful applicant will bring strong clinical skill set and have a passion for client care and delivering high standards of customer-focused service. We are looking for allied health professionals who thrive working with a multidisciplinary team and will be committed to upholding and promoting Farris Care values.

You will also bring;

  • A bachelor or post graduate degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
  • Current Authority to Practice as a Physiotherapist or Occupational therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Experience in working with a broad age range of clients
  • Prior experience working in community and/or NDIS
  • Current full Australian Driver's Licence
  • Willing to use own vehicle to attend client appointments
  • Well-developed organisational and time management skills
  • Commitment to quality improvement and evidence-based practice
  • Positive approach to work

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Utilise clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice to create rehabilitation program and justify treatment approach
  • Provision of physiotherapy including assessment, treatment, education, and communication with our clients
  • Work collegially and liaise with coordinators, other allied health team members, facility managers and doctors
  • Keeping individualised, detailed records relating to clients conditions, care plans, therapies, reports and progress
