We are currently recruiting for positions in various regions, including Frankston, Sale, Warragul, Ballarat, Dandenong, and surrounding areas. Please note all supervised contact sessions start in community locations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality supervision and facilitation of contact sessions in a flexible manner, prioritising the safety and well-being of children.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, parents, extended family members, carers, and social workers.
- Maintain detailed and confidential records of observations and interactions, demonstrating strong written communication skills.
- Participate in ongoing professional development, training, and regular supervision sessions.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of FCS services through active participation in team activities and service developments.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification in social work, youth work, welfare, or a related discipline.
- Experience in supervising child contact or access sessions, preferably in child protection or family services.
- Working with Children Check and up-to-date Police Check.
- Possession of a registered and roadworthy vehicle with insurance for occasional transportation of children to and from supervised contact sessions.
- Commitment to treating all individuals with dignity and respect, prioritising the safety and welfare of children.
