This position is based within the Shepparton office.

This role will predominantly engage with men and fathers as part of the child and family response. Child and Family services, work with families where there are children up to the age of 18, supporting families with the wellbeing and development of children. We utilise a strength-based approach in supporting families to achieve their goals and work in alignment with the best interest’s framework. In addition to delivering a case management response, this position will also facilitate men’s specific parenting groups and/or one on one counselling for men.

The successful applicant will require suitable tertiary qualifications and experience in social welfare practice and an understanding of the issues related to men, families, children and adolescents in the areas of family functioning, parent/child relationships and child and adolescent development. Strong engagement and interpersonal skills in working with men and families is essential.

Salary ranges from $61,000 – $80,000 depending on qualifications and experience.
