We, are Ethical Mischief, a volunteer creative collective.

We're based in Melbourne but we have team members all over Australia, so location isn't really important

We give creatives the opportunity to work on problems that matter and we want brave ideas.

We do work for good causes who can't afford great ideas but they need them to stand out.

And that's why we need you.

We have several clients who need help as well as one campaign we're currently about to bring to life.

We can't say much more but it involves a major Australian comedian

We do projects involving climate change, social justice, charities and small start ups born out of covid redundancies.

Our mantra at Ethical Mischief is that we only work on briefs that Dare to Scare. We're asking for your volunteer time, so we want the work to be creatively fulfilling for you too. We’re looking for a few hours of your week to help us come up with ideas and bring them to life.

We're essentially a mini volunteer agency. We have Creative Directors, Strategists, Researchers, Designers, Producers and Creative Teams who work for some of Australia's biggest and best agencies, and we volunteer what time we can afford. So as well as doing good in the world it's an excellent networking opportunity too.

We are taking on multiple people for these roles.

Ideally as a writer you will have some experience of;

  • finding insights about customer behaviour
  • coming up with concepts for ad campaigns
  • writing and editing scripts
  • finding the gold in a researchers notes, and then rewriting it
  • using 1 one word when everyone else uses 3
  • writing engaging long copy
  • writing catchy 1 liners
