At ermha365 we work with clients with some of the most complex mental health and disability support needs in Victoria. We’re a lifeline for people who often feel like a “square peg in a round hole” - those who experience stigma and discrimination, and are ostracised or excluded from the simple things that most of us take for granted. In many cases we have become the provider of last resort, although we see ourselves as the provider of first choice. We believe in the potential of everyone. We never give up, and we never give in.
We support individuals (consumers) in their own homes and within the community to build skills, confidence, and independence in everyday life. Our approach is recovery‑oriented, trauma‑informed, and person‑centred, focused on enabling rather than doing, so individuals can exercise choice, control, and self‑determination.
We are seeking compassionate and values‑driven mental health Support Workers who are passionate about promoting mental health, psychological safety, and overall wellbeing. These roles play a vital part in creating safe, inclusive, and mentally healthy environments, particularly for people living with complex mental health conditions, dual diagnosis, and behaviours of concern.
The successful candidates will be able to thrive in a dynamic, 24/7 environment, who can think creatively, and respond calmly and professionally to complex situations. Strong rapport‑building skills, emotional intelligence, and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure are essential. These casual roles will require the successful candidates to have a Certificate IV in Mental Health, or tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work or a related discipline.
We are currently hiring multiple casual mental health Support Worker positions based in Castlemaine. This is a 24/7 program therefore, potential shift times are 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6am. The successful candidates will be available for a range of shifts.
It is a requirement of this position to meet all compliance requirements concerning NDIS Worker Screening, Working With Children Check, Right to Work and possess a current & valid Victorian Driver’s Licence.
