Are you a natural relationship builder who loves making big things happen — and having a whole lot of fun while doing it? Whether you’re securing a corporate sponsorship or rallying a community around our cause, your energy is infectious, and your calendar is always buzzing.
At Epilepsy Queensland, we walk alongside the 50,000 Queenslanders living with epilepsy, bridging the gap between clinical care and everyday life, through building knowledge, capacity and confidence individuals and communities need to manage epilepsy, reduce stigma, and foster inclusion. And that’s where you come in: a Partnerships and Fundraising Lead who can turn our mission into momentum - building revenue, sparking new connections, and bringing our brightest ideas to life.
This isn’t just a job - it’s a front-row seat to powerful campaigns, meaningful relationships, epic events, and exciting networking opportunities where you’ll work hard, have fun, and see your efforts turn into real impact.
What You’ll Do (And Love!)
- You drive all things revenue - including philanthropy, corporate sponsorships and partnerships, community fundraising, and retail sales.
- Lead fundraising activities for campaigns like Make March Purple, Walk for Epilepsy, and annual appeals.
- Secure ticket sales for key events such as The Purple Supper and Thinking Outside the Box.
- Champion relationships – identify them, nurture them, convert them. You'll work with everyone from grassroots community supporters to third party fundraisers, and corporate organisations.
- You are a powerhouse presence at networking events, conferences, community fundraisers and face-to-face meetings - you’re the ultimate authentic people person and you are helping to build awareness of the work that Epilepsy Queensland does in the community.
- Use insights, data and tech to fuel decisions, refine pipelines, and automate low-value admin.
- Manage partnerships with professionalism, heart and a sense of fun.
- Smash fundraising and donor revenue targets, drive event attendance, and create authentic connections in every interaction.
Who You Are
- A driven, passionate relationship builder who sees opportunity in every conversation.
- Experienced in fundraising, sales, sponsorships or partnerships, with demonstrated outcomes and adept at managing multiple revenue pipelines.
- A confident communicator, natural storyteller and persuasive pitch creator - equally at home in corporate meetings and community events.
- Passionate about purpose - and committed to supporting people living with epilepsy and their families.
- Well-organised with a love for calendars, deadlines, goals and celebrations.
- Confident working with CRMs and data to drive smarter decisions, experience with fundraising platforms is a bonus, but not essential.
- Flexible with the availability to attend occasional evening or weekend events.
- Curious, coachable, and always up for a challenge (and a laugh).
What You’ll Get
- A warm, supportive and values-driven culture that thrives on teamwork, purpose and progress.
- A calendar full of exciting events, inspiring stories and connection opportunities that make a difference.
- A team that values your ideas, celebrates your wins, and supports your growth.
- The opportunity to be part of something bigger - and create lasting change in the lives of thousands.
