The Epilepsy Foundation supports people living with epilepsy to live safer, more connected lives. We provide evidence-based information, education, and support across health, education, disability, workplaces, and aged care. We also raise awareness, reduce stigma, and promote inclusion in the broader community.
We’re seeking a compassionate and organised health, welfare or disability professional to provide person-centred support to individuals and families living with epilepsy as part of our Comprehensive Support Services team.
As an Epilepsy Advisor, you will manage a caseload, including clients with complex needs. You will support individuals to understand their seizures and epilepsy, live safely and well, and navigate their roles at home, in the community, school, or workplace, while building self-management skills and connecting with appropriate services.
You will also contribute to our information line, providing single-session support to callers. The role offers opportunities to deliver education and training, and to facilitate workshops for people living with epilepsy and key stakeholders such as families, educators, and support staff.
