Bid Coordinator - Alice Springs

Ekistica

Ekistica (www.ekistica.com.au) is a professional advisory and technical engineering consultancy firm based in Central Australia. Wholly owned by the Indigenous controlled Centre for Appropriate Technology, our vision is a world where location is no longer a barrier to good technical outcomes: where the appropriation of technology enables people, communities and businesses to reach their full potential. We pursue this by providing high quality, independent technical advisory, design engineering and project delivery services to a wide range of national and international clients that include state and national governments, power utilities, community service organisations and private investment firms. We deliver a challenging suite of projects that include utility renewable developments, power supply projects for remote communities and remote and regional commercial facilities such as airports and tourism ventures, and other public and privately funded infrastructure developments.

Based in our Alice Springs office, you will work with our dynamic team of engineers, project managers, engagement specialists and data analysts, to develop and deliver professional tender responses in a timely manner. You will be responsible for driving the bid process, managing the day to day bid timeline and engaging with internal teams to collate relevant information and prepare response documents. You will develop and write content including project summaries, capability statements, CV’s and testimonials to support tender responses.

With at least five years’ experience in a similar role within the technical advisory sector, your capabilities will include:

  • Strong proficiency in bid writing and bid management.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines

  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to operate under pressure in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment requiring critical decision making and ownership.
  • A tertiary qualification in engineering, marketing, communications, business, project management or related discipline is preferred but not essential.

The position requirement is a minimum 0.7 FTE but negotiable up to full time, and is based in Ekistica’s offices on the beautiful Desert Knowledge Precinct in Alice Springs.
