About Us:

Welcome to EcoCaddy! We are an environmentally conscious, 8-year-old startup committed to pioneering sustainability and combating food waste in Adelaide.

Our mission is to divert 1,000,000kg of food waste from landfill by 2026.

We utilise electric-assisted trikes and trailers to collect food scraps from local Adelaide businesses and compost them back at our urban farm.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a young-at-heart individual who is passionate about making a difference in the world and contributing to the fight against food waste. In this role, you will:

• Ride through the city, collecting food scraps from local businesses
• Operate modern smartphone apps to carry out daily tasks
• Lift containers filled with fresh food scraps
• Undergo comprehensive training
• Report directly to our founder, Daniels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Navigating through traffic and all weather conditions to collect food scraps
• Collaborating with local Adelaide businesses
• Contributing innovative ideas to help shape the direction of the company
• Actively participating in team meetings and discussions
• Adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines

About You:

• Experience: Proficient in riding a bicycle; hospitality experience is preferred.
• Skills: Fit, Fast working, Able to use modern smartphone apps efficiently.
• Qualities: Passionate about sustainability, reliable, adaptable, and has a positive attitude.
• Availability: Able to work 1-2 days per week with one day being on Saturday.
