Eastern Community Legal Centre (ECLC) is a multidisciplinary legal service that works to prevent problems, progress fair outcomes and support the wellbeing and resilience of communities and community members in Melbourne’s East.

About the role

As a key member of the People and Shared Services team, the Digital Workplace Lead will support the delivery of ECLC’s digital workplace strategy, centred on employee experience, engagement and adoption.

As a champion of digital workplace productivity and collaboration tools, the role supports end-users in the training, adoption and use of key organisational platforms and software, in addition to holding responsibility for their oversight and maintenance. This includes a focus on overall change management and process improvement, as well as raising adoption and proficiencies of current and future workplace technologies.

In supporting the end-users and digital workplace platforms, this role will also provide basic frontline ICT support, and act as an agent between staff and external IT vendors for escalated support and assistance.

Specifically, you will have:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar role, preferably within NFP/community sector, with a tertiary qualification (degree or post graduate) in a relevant discipline
  • Understanding of the capabilities and role of the digital workplace in supporting organisational objectives
  • Demonstrated experience in administrating Microsoft 365 and a variety of digital workplace platforms
  • Demonstrated experience in providing professional, timely and effective ICT support
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills with demonstrated experience in building and maintaining co-operative and productive working relationships with diverse stakeholders at all levels
  • Excellent judgement in relation to problem-solving with a focus on developing solutions and the ability to innovate and adapt to change
  • Experience training and supporting people in the use of technology, influencing behaviour, and leading change

This position is based at ECLC’s Boronia/Box Hill locations. However, due to the current restrictions in place in Victoria, this role includes an initial working from home arrangement. Working remotely during the COVID-19 pandemic, you will be expected to have exceptional communication and the ability to build positive relationships to support your role.
