We're looking for a Mental Health Occupational Therapist to join our Allied Health team in Narre Warren!
If you are qualified in Occupational Therapy (or equivalent) and registered with AHPRA, knowledgeable in applying OT practices in a mental health setting and enjoys working within a multidisciplinary team of service professionals, then you be our new teammate!
You'll be passionate about providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to assist clients to achieve their goals in relation to daily living, community life and health & wellbeing.
You will be working within a small team of Mental Health OT's who provide NDIS outreach therapy to clients in their homes or community in the areas of Casey, Cardinia and Greater Dandenong Regions.
Utilising your skills and experience in Occupational Therapy and Mental Health within the Social Model of Health, you will deliver community supports within a transdisciplinary mental health framework. You will be responsible for building relationships, collaborating effectively with clients, families, colleagues, stakeholders and other service providers and communicating well with other professionals, families and the community, as well as clinical administration tasks including report writing for NDIS reviews.
Working as part of a small cohesive team of Mental Health OT's, you will be well supported by individual clinical supervision, group supervision and region-wide discipline-specific mentoring. In addition, you will be working with other professionals at Narre Warren within a variety of disciplines, including Occupational Therapists, Physios and Psychologists, our team is dedicated to giving clients the best possible support.
