Who we're looking for

If you're a mental health clinician, qualified in either Social Work or Psychology, enjoy variety in your day, and working closely with other service delivery professionals, you might be exactly the person we're looking for!

As part of our Aged Care team in Port Macquarie, EACH is looking for a Mental Health Clinician to provide psychological interventions and support, making a huge difference to the lives of older adults. The role will be .6 FTE (22.8 hours over 3 days) to 30 June 2020 and then increase to .8 FTE (30.4 hours over 4 days) to 30 June 2022.

What you'll be doing

You will be using your demonstrated experience in providing individual counselling therapy and expertise and your understanding of; the impacts of trauma, working with vulnerable people and family conflict. You will have knowledge of the services, and networks that are available in the Mid North Coast of NSW.

Your demonstrated understanding of the social model of health and mental health recovery principles and processes and understanding and experience in providing therapeutic approaches such as ACT, mindfulness and brief therapy will assist you in the success of this position.

Who you'll be working with

Working with other professionals at Port Macquarie and surrounds, within a variety of disciplines, include Occupational Therapists, Physios and Psychologists, our team is dedicated to giving clients the best possible support.
