About Inclusion Foundation

Inclusion Foundation is a for-purpose organisation, a fully accredited NDIS provider and a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profit Commission (ACNC).

Our vision is to enhance lives and change perceptions of Down syndrome within society through dance, fitness, education and employment programs. Inclusion Foundation is Australia’s first and largest not-for-profit organisation to provide evidence-based innovative health and fitness programs for children, young adults and adults living with Down syndrome. Inclusion Foundation delivers two programs: e.motion21 and Impact21.

Moving Bodies: Providing programs to children and adults with Down syndrome in supportive and social environments tailored to meet their specific learning needs.

Moving Boundaries: Engaging positively with individuals, families and communities through our programs, performances and media to uncover new potential, promote understanding and raise expectations.

e.motion21: Delivers dance and fitness classes virtually throughout Australia, and in-studio across nine Victorian locations; Ballarat, Bendigo, Cranbourne, Geelong, Greensborough, Hoppers Crossing, Kew, Pascoe Vale ,and Rowville. They perform regularly at public events.

Impact21: Delivers a post-secondary inclusive ‘education into employment’ program that builds work ready adults with Down syndrome and transitions them into meaningful and sustainable employment with large national corporations. Impact21 Employment course operates out of Torrens University, 196 Flinders Street, Melbourne.

Position Purpose

The role of the Administration Officer is a shared function across Inclusion Foundation, encompassing Impact21 and e.motion21. Inclusion Foundation is also supported by a large number of entities and individuals from across the community, including industry, academia, disability employment services, training organisations, social enterprise, and the not-for-profit sector.

This position is vital in ensuring the efficient and accurate completion of a range of administrative tasks and the smooth running of Impact21 (where the key focus lies) and efficiency of Impact21 staff. The Administration Officer will deliver consistently high levels of service to internal and external stakeholders and perform a variety of administrative tasks associated with fielding calls, responding to emails, word processing, creating spreadsheets and presentations, online filing and record keeping, and supporting the Inclusion Foundation team more generally.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Demonstrated capability to be autonomous in undertaking administration support tasks across a range of functions with an eye for detail
  • Demonstrated capability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise and troubleshoot in a solution focused manner
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of office systems and software as relevant to the position e.g., Microsoft Office / Xero / Sharepoint / Teams / JCurve
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated commitment and capacity to actively contribute to the Inclusion Foundation
  • Enjoy operating in a fast-paced, agile, and highly dynamic environment with a “Can-Do” attitude
  • Meet mandatory NDIS Screening Check
  • Current Working with Children Check

Desirable

  • Experience in an administration support role within a professional environment is desired
  • Undergraduate degree or post-secondary qualification
  • Exposure to the NDIS billing item codes and processes
