The Opportunity:

Join our dynamic Climate Change Division, where we drive comprehensive Government coordination of cutting-edge climate change policies and deliver expert advice to Government. At the forefront of change, our Division spearheads the implementation of key initiatives, including the Western Australian Climate Policy, State Electric Vehicles Strategy, and the Climate Science Initiative. Additionally, we take pride in administering impactful programs such as the Clean Energy Future Fund and Carbon Innovation Grants Programme.

The Climate and Sustainability Directorate are looking to establish a talent pool for Program Officers (Level 5) and Senior Program Officers (Level 6) to fill immediate and future roles.

We currently have the following vacancies available for immediate filling:

  • Level 5 Program Officer – Emissions Tracking and Reporting. This is a full-time fixed term opportunity until 30 June 2027 with a possibility of extension and or permanency.
  • Level 5 Program Officer – Carbon Innovation Grants Program. This is a full-time fixed term opportunity until 30 June 2025 with a possibility of extension and or permanency.
  • Level 6 Senior Program Officer - Clean Energy Future Fund. This is a full-time fixed term opportunity until 30 June 2028 with a possibility of extension and or permanency.
  • Level 6 Senior Program Officer – Carbon Accounting. This is a full-time permanent opportunity.
