Enhance Health Services are seeking two Speech Pathologists to join their growing allied health team.

We are a not for profit NDIS service provider (part of Disability Services Australia) working with adolescents to adults in all aspects of disability from physical to intellectual disability.

With a team of consultants, Speech & Behaviour Therapists, Psychologists & Nurses that delivers individualised services that assist people to learn skills to deal positively with life experiences and situations through psychological support and intervention strategies, resilience programs and incidental crisis support.

The team is also continuing to work with businesses, community groups and other disability sector services to broaden their understanding around working with people with a disability.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide a range of assessments and interventions using an evidence based approach
  • Conduct AAC assessments and implement a range of AAC strategies
  • Conduct Oral Eating and Drinking Care Plans with reports (i.e. mealtime management plans)
  • Complete communication reports and provide valued recommendations

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • Relevant Speech Pathology tertiary qualifications
  • Current CPSP Certified Practising membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
  • Genuine interest in the disability sector
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence and access to a reliable car
  • Ability to work effectively and independently as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Demonstrated high-level written and verbal communication skills
  • Have well developed computer literacy
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Have a valid WWCC and willingness to undertake a national police check as part of the employment checks
