This is a 12-month part-time contract (19 hours per week) based at our Sunshine Coast head office, reporting to the Marketing Team Leader. With flexibility to work your hours across standard business hours, this role is well suited to someone seeking meaningful work while maintaining balance alongside other commitments.

About Destiny Rescue

Destiny Rescue is an internationally recognised, Christian-based, not-for-profit organisation with a powerful mission: to rescue children from sexual exploitation and human trafficking and equip them to stay free.

Through rescue operations and long-term reintegration programs across Asia, Africa, and Latin America, we work every day to bring freedom, safety, and hope to vulnerable children. To date, we have rescued more than 26,000 individuals and continue to grow as a dynamic organisation committed to expanding our global impact.

By joining our team, you will be part of a transformative effort to rescue and support vulnerable children, helping ensure they have the opportunity to live lives of freedom and hope.

About the Role

As a Contact Centre Operator – Donor Engagement, you will be a key point of contact for supporters, delivering exceptional donor experiences while supporting the smooth running of our Sunshine Coast office. You will build meaningful relationships with donors, assist with fundraising initiatives, and help ensure supporters remain connected to the life-changing impact of their generosity.

Your role will focus on:

  • Delivering exceptional donor care through inbound and outbound communications, including thank-you calls, donor stewardship, and fundraising conversations.
  • Building genuine, lasting relationships with donors and supporters.
  • Supporting fundraising appeals and campaigns to help achieve organisational goals.
  • Maintaining accurate donor records and campaign data within Salesforce CRM.
  • Assisting with general office administration, including mail, supplies, and day-to-day office support.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to provide a positive and engaging supporter experience.

About You

You enjoy connecting with people, are highly organised, and are motivated by making a meaningful difference. You bring a donor-first mindset and understand the importance of helping supporters feel valued, appreciated, and connected to the impact of their giving.

You have experience in customer service, donor care, or supporter engagement roles, along with excellent communication skills both over the phone and in writing. You're confident building relationships, asking for donations, and adapting your approach to different audiences. With strong attention to detail, effective time management, and experience using Salesforce or similar CRM systems, you're ready to contribute to a cause that changes lives.

We care deeply for our team and offer a range of great benefits.

  • A supportive, encouraging, and values-driven team environment.
