Work outdoors resorting bushland and ecosystems across the Sydney Greater Region with Dragonfly Environmental. 

Your duties will include:

  • Conduct weed control using manual, chemical, and biological methods
  • Identify and remove invasive plant species
  • Assist in revegetation projects by planting native species
  • Maintain and monitor the health of regenerating bushland
  • Conduct flora and fauna surveys to assess biodiversity
  • Restore and protect sensitive ecosystems such as wetlands and coastal areas
  • Implement erosion control measures
  • Monitor and report on environmental changes and project outcomes
  • Use hand tools, herbicides, and machinery (e.g., brush cutters, sprayers)
  • Follow environmental legislation and local council guidelines
  • Ensure safe work practices, including chemical handling and PPE use
  • Maintain records of work completed and herbicide use

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A Current Drivers’ licence and own transport (or ability to get to site)
  • National Police Check or be willing to obtain
  • Working with Children Check, or willing to obtain.
  • Experience in bush regeneration or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management or equivalent (Highly Desirable)
