Down Syndrome Australia is seeking an experienced, highly organised individual to take on the role of Information Project Officer in South Australia. This is a unique opportunity to take on the responsibility of providing information and supports to the Down syndrome community in South Australia. The Project Officer will also have responsibility for setting up peer-support networks and connecting people to relevant services within South Australia. The Project Officer will work closely with other Information and Support Co-ordinators from the Down Syndrome Australia federation.
This is a flexible, rewarding role for a person who is already part of the down syndrome community in South Australia or who has extensive experience within the disability sector. This role would suit individuals who can work well independently and have excellent communication skills. This is a flexible part-time role.
