At Statewide Rehabilitation Services (SRS), your skills will be backed by a team that values your professional judgement, supports your development and gives you room to do the work properly.
Across our community offices and custodial facilities, our team gives young people involved in the justice system the consistent clinical care they need to rebuild their lives.
Using evidence-informed practice, you will guide the young people through life-changing shifts in mindset, behaviour and self-belief. You will empower them to make positive choices, and learn new skills to reduce harmful behaviours. It's complex and challenging work. But it's work that makes a real difference both to young people's futures and to our state's safety.
We are currently recruiting for permanent and fixed-term opportunities at our Malmsbury precinct, offering a great work/life balance in the countryside of central Victoria. We also offer a $10K relocation allowance for eligible candidates who are thinking of moving to within an hour's drive of the facility.
Our clinicians will tell you that the work here is its own reward. This is a unique opportunity to provide continued support to young people, working across a variety of youth justice settings.
However, there are also many other benefits of a clinical career in youth justice, including:
If you have a professional clinical background or education – as well as experience working with young people to make positive changes – we encourage you to apply for this opportunity. This could be the start of career defining work with real purpose.
We recruit qualified practitioners with professional membership or general registration in:
