Dress for Success Worldwide (Worldwide) is a global not-for-profit organisation that empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire, and the development tools to help women thrive in work and life. Since starting operations in 1997, Dress for Success has expanded to 156 affiliates in 30 countries including 15 in New Zealand and Australia. To date, we have helped over 1,000,000 women work towards self-sufficiency.

Worldwide is seeking a fundraising consultant with expertise in corporate partnerships to cultivate and secure corporate partnerships in New Zealand and Australia. This position reports directly to the Dress for Success Worldwide Vice President of Development. The primary focus will be to build and nurture a suite of mutually beneficial, creative and profitable partnerships in order to drive a significant uplift in corporate income for Dress for Success affiliates in Australia and New Zealand.

The ideal candidate has exceptional interpersonal and communications skills and is adept in building relationships with confidence, poise and efficacy. This role is based in Sydney, Australia. Some travel will be necessary. A commitment of 20 hours a week is required.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement a multiyear strategy to grow corporate support, working closely with the Worldwide Vice President of Development and the Australia/New Zealand affiliates.
  2. Identify, cultivate and secure new corporate prospects resulting in brand-aligned partnerships; broker strategic corporate alliances to drive revenue and visibility to affiliates.
  3. Build corporate pipelines to new funding.
  4. Develop, execute and manage partnership engagements between partners and affiliates; compile results/feedback reports following campaigns.
  5. Provide account management to ensure that affiliates and partners meet deadlines, goals, and deliverables reporting requirements.
  6. Communicate regularly with all affiliates in the region regarding prospective funders and existing partnerships.
