Iltja Ntjarra Art Centre is an Aboriginal-owned and governed art centre located in Mparntwe (Alice Springs), Northern Territory. With a special focus on supporting artists who continue the legacy of Albert Namatjira, one of Australia’s most celebrated 20th-century artists, the centre fosters a vibrant community of Western Aranda Aboriginal men and women, ranging from emerging to established artists. Together, they paint, sing, share, learn, and engage in a collaborative and creative environment. Their work is celebrated for its striking watercolour depictions of their country and for innovative projects that often address social and cultural commentary.
We’re seeking a dynamic Art Centre Manager to drive excellence in administration, finance, and community collaboration. You’ll manage daily operations, funding submissions, artist payments, and WH&S compliance while promoting our art locally and globally. Be a mentor, protect artists’ rights, and uphold traditional law in a vibrant cultural setting. If you’re passionate about art, community, and leadership, apply now to make a meaningful impact!
