Come join our amazing team and help us to Coordinate our Paws the Pressure Program. This National program makes a difference by supporting people across corporate, healthcare and tertiary institutions by reducing stress and boosting morale.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This role is responsible for the coordination of the Paws the Pressure program nationally. You will work with volunteers and their dogs, and our Program Partners – which include corporate, for-purpose, health care and tertiary institutions – to coordinate the delivery of this unique well-being initiative.

You will be responsible for:

  • achievement of Paws the Pressure activity and financial KPIs;
  • program marketing and conversion of prospective clients to Program Partners;
  • end to end coordination and delivery of Paws the Pressure sessions including responding to enquiries, managing bookings, rostering volunteers, planning sessions, and post-session follow up;
  • Program Partner engagement and relationships management;
  • volunteer engagement and relationship management;
  • session evaluation and ongoing improvement;
  • submission of regular reports to demonstrate your achievements against your KPIs; and
  • contributions to team projects and other tasks as needed.

Location: Sydney NSW (working from home). Will consider other locations for the ideal candidate – though travel to Sydney would be required approx. quarterly.

Equipment requirements: Laptop, phone, printer and other office equipment will be supplied, however safe home office set-up is required. Unrestricted driver’s licence and own fully insured vehicle required, however travel allowance is payable.

Hours: Permanent Full time 37.5 hours/week. Flexibility to work weekends and after business hours as required.

Remuneration: $73,312 + superannuation + opportunity to salary sacrifice

ABOUT YOU

We are looking for an energetic results-oriented self-starter who enjoys achieving targets, with strong relationship management and program coordination skills, to join the team at Delta Therapy Dogs. A love of dogs is a must.

Key Essential Criteria for the role:

(All of the following criteria must be addressed in your application)

  • A love for dogs and animals, a passion for our mission and a commitment to positive rewards-based animal training;
  • Proven achievement of targets in a similar environment;
  • An ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders;
  • Confident event-planner with capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously; and
  • An ability to work autonomously and within a geographically dispersed national team.

Desirable Criteria:

(Relevant criteria should be addressed in your application)

  • NFP/Social Enterprise coordination;
  • Experience as a Volunteer Coordinator or as a volunteer yourself;
  • Industry experience working in a for-purpose organisation (aka NGO, NFP or charity); and/or
  • Experience applying for grants or willingness to contribute to researching and writing grant applications as required.

Delta Institute is the educational arm of the organisation delivering educational products with a positive reinforcement training philosophy, including the nationally accredited Certificate IV in Animal Behaviour and Training.
