We’re looking for a Marketing & Engagement Lead to take ownership of our marketing, communications, and engagement activities—helping us grow awareness, strengthen partnerships, and amplify our impact.
This is a unique opportunity to work across campaigns, content, events, and stakeholder engagement in a small but dynamic organisation making a difference in the community.
Defence Community Dogs is an independent program that provides highly trained Assistance Dogs at no cost, to serving and ex-serving Australian Defence Force members who need physical and emotional support for mood, depressive and anxiety disorders including PTSD. Our program not only saves and empowers veterans - restoring confidence, connection, safety, and hope - but also gives dogs a second chance and a meaningful purpose, and provides inmates with rehabilitation, responsibility and the chance to contribute to something profoundly positive.
As our Marketing & Engagement Lead, you’ll be responsible for planning and delivering integrated marketing and engagement initiatives that support our mission and organisational growth.
This is a broad, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, takes initiative, and is comfortable working autonomously.
