The Philanthropy Coordinator, Trusts and Foundations supports the organisation's strategic objectives and operational plan by effectively matching funding needs with the funding interests of Trusts and Foundations, building relationships with their representatives and applying for advertised and invited grants.
You will work effectively with the Head of Fundraising and Philanthropy to develop and maintain a database of opportunities to ensure a coordinated organisational approach to trusts and foundations. You will also liaise with program staff to understanding funding needs and meet with senior management on a regular basis to make recommendations for applications and gain approval.
You will work closely with program staff to ensure that the funding is being applied as agreed, and acquittal requirements are met, and with the Marketing and Communications team to ensure funders are appropriately acknowledged.
This is a part time role, the equivalent of 3-4 days a week (0.6 - 0.8 FTE).
