About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and relationship-focused Individual Giving & Philanthropy Coordinator to join our Fundraising team.

This role is responsible for developing and managing DCA's individual giving, donor engagement and philanthropy programs. You will cultivate meaningful relationships with donors, philanthropic supporters and community partners while helping to grow sustainable income that supports our mission.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate individual giving appeals, campaigns, regular giving and supporter engagement initiatives.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective donors, philanthropic supporters and community partners.
  • Coordinate donor stewardship activities, supporter events, meetings and engagement opportunities.
  • Develop donor communications across print, digital and Auslan-accessible formats.
  • Support grant applications, philanthropic funding opportunities and reporting requirements.
  • Maintain donor and philanthropic records within Raiser’s Edge CRM.
  • Work collaboratively with fundraising, marketing, community engagement and service delivery teams.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • At least three years’ experience in fundraising, donor relations, individual giving, direct mail or philanthropy within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office.
  • A commitment to Deaf Children Australia’s mission and values, including respect for Deaf culture and Auslan.

Requirements

The successful applicant will be required to hold or obtain:

  • Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Satisfactory National Police Check and/or International Police Check where required
