About the role

As an NDIS Support Coordinator you will assist participants to understand and implement their NDIS plan by linking in the participant with services that meet individual needs and monitoring their NDIS plan outcomes and expenditure.

Support Coordinators are the face of Darebin Support Services, in this role you will be developing professional relationships with NDIS participants, families and other service providers.

Skill and Experience

  • Understanding of the NDIS and its operational guidelines and framework
  • Demonstrated high level of verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience as a disability case manager
  • Positive, empathetic and willing to learn new skills
  • Time Management and Autonomous working skills
  • Detailed report writing skills
  • Adaptable to an ever-changing disability landscape
  • Microsoft suite knowledge, with a proficiency in Word and Outlook
  • Good social and communication skills
  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
  • Current Police Check, Working with Children Check and Driver’s license
