About Your New Dream Role

The Administrative Officer will work within the Corporation’s administration function, and provide support across the Corporation, including working closely with the Koolan Island, and Healthy Country team. The Administrative Officer will bring a positive attitude and a continuous improvement mindset to effectively support the Corporation’s day to day administration functions and member services. They will independently carry out delegated administration duties, ensuring tasks are streamlined and in accordance with processes, systems, and workflows.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Minimum Year 10 or equivalent
  • 3+ years of demonstrated administration or relevant experience
  • Strong initiative, brilliant at problem solving and providing tailored solutions
  • Demonstrated stakeholder engagement experience through collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, community, and businesses
  • Self-motivated, ability to work autonomously and as part of a bigger team
  • Excellent organisational, planning and time management skills, to meet competing deadlines
  • Flexibility to work additional hours as required
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow and refine processes
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence
  • Sound experience and knowledge in MS Office products such as Excel, Word and Outlook and MYOB (basic data entry, purchases, etc.)
  • C Class Driver’s License (preferred or ability to obtain)
  • Working with Children’s Check and Police Clearance, or ability to obtain
