The Role 

We are seeking a talented and highly motivated candidate who can play a vital role in optimising the performance and value of renewable energy assets. Your primary responsibility will be to analyse and monitor the operational and financial performance of renewable energy projects, including wind, solar, and storage assets.

Key responsibilities: 

  • Evaluate the financial performance of renewable energy assets.
  • Prepare financial models, forecasts, and reports for individual projects and the overall portfolio.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of asset strategies and long-term plans for the portfolio.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess market trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Use Origin to update market forecasts. 
  • Manage preparation and presentation of technology review reports 
  • Support the completion of daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports including financial and operational results for distribution throughout the business on time.
  • Create and manage reporting Power BI dashboards.
  • Manage the PPA billing queries. 
  • Support interfaces with other business units, particularly around access to project data and forecasts, including ESG information.

About you 

You will have: 

  • Sound knowledge of energy industry and renewable generation.
  • Knowledge of the Australian Electricity Market (NEM).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, Economics or IT.
  • Business/Project Management qualification (desirable).
  • Ability to create models to account for operational outcomes at wind farms.
  • Knowledge of NEM systems.
  • Knowledge of SCADA systems.
