ABOUT CULTIVATE CLEAN

Cultivate Clean is a deeply values-led, fast growing, premium eco-friendly residential cleaning company based in Eltham. We're looking for an exceptional Training & Quality Lead to help us develop our people, protect our quality and build the systems that will allow us to grow without losing what makes us special. 

This is a hands-on role combining field work with training, coaching, quality control and learning and development. You'll need to be physically fit and enjoy physical work mixed with desk-based tasks, creative problem-solving, and developing practical training resources. 

You'll work closely with our Founder to help build the Cultivate Clean Method, taking our existing standards, values and approach and turning them into practical, scalable training that helps every team member deliver an exceptional experience. 

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Assist with hiring and selection, then take ownership of training and developing new Cleaning Technicians through to confident, independent work.
• Work hands-on alongside the team, including leading and supporting Initial Deep Cleans.
• Coach existing team members to improve quality, confidence, and efficiency.
• Conduct quality checks and use your observations to identify training needs and opportunities for improvement.
• Help build practical training systems, SOPs, and learning resources.
• Continually look for ways to improve how we train, clean, and deliver our service.
• Be a positive cultural leader who models our values and brings out the best in others.

• Is practical, solutions-focused and comfortable making decisions independently.
• Is digitally confident and a strong written and verbal communicator, able to help create clear and engaging training resources.
• Is equally happy rolling up your sleeves in a client's home and sitting down to improve a training process.
• Previous experience in training and development, hospitality, care work, team leadership or similar people-focused industries will be highly regarded.
• Formal management experience isn't essential, but you'll need to demonstrate strong leadership capability and the confidence to guide, coach and positively influence others. We're more interested in finding the right person than the perfect CV. 

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

• Demonstrated experience training, coaching or developing others, with an understanding of how adults learn and develop practical skills.
• Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
• Confidence using digital tools and creating practical written resources.
• A current driver's licence and reliable vehicle.
• A current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one.
  Australian working rights. 
• A Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or other relevant learning and development qualification would be highly regarded but is not essential. We're open to supporting the right person to further develop their formal training and L&D capability.

We offer $38–$42 per hour + super for approximately 16–20 permanent part-time hours per week, across 3–4 regular agreed days. Hours can be structured around school hours if local.
