About the Role

We’re looking for compassionate and reliable Support Workers to join our team in Swan Hill, North West Victoria, to provide person-centred complex care supports such as ventilation, PEG feeding, wound care, bowel care, epilepsy management and stoma care, to our male client in his late 20's living in the family home in Swan Hill.

We welcome candidates with experience but are fully committed to providing the required training to those candidates without.

Various shifts available 24 hours, 7 days a week. You must be able to commit to 2 overnight (active/awake) shifts per week 12am-8am.

This is a field-based role, supporting the participant in his home with an established team of dedicated support workers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, individualised support in line with participants’ NDIS goals
  • Assist with daily living, community access and complex cares as required
  • Promote independence, dignity and choice for every participant
  • Maintain accurate progress notes and communication with the team

Essential Requirements

Existing or eligibility to apply and attain prior to commencing employment:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working With Children Check (where required)
  • First Aid & CPR Certificate
  • Valid Driver’s Licence and access to reliable vehicle
