About the role

The Senior People Insights & Systems Manager is a newly created role, reporting to the Chief People Officer. Responsible for the development, implementation and management of people analytics to help inform business decision making and drive business outcomes. The successful candidate will partner with the IT Business Partner to develop a robust People & Culture technology strategy that delivers a high-quality end user experience and drives ongoing operational efficiencies.

The role will be based in Sydney offering hybrid working. The CPA Head Office is based in Allambie Heights.

Duties include:

  • Lead the design and implementation of solutions (e.g. PowerBi) to track and report on key people metrics such as turnover, retention, diversity, organisational effectiveness and talent acquisition
  • Analyse data to identify patterns, trends, and insights that can help inform decision-making and drive business outcomes
  • Partner with P&C business partners and other key stakeholders to identify and scope out data needs and develop solutions to address them
  • Assist the Chief People Officer with preparing insight reports for Board and Senior leader meetings
  • Partner with IT and other departments to integrate P&C systems and streamline data processes
  • Identify opportunities to improve and further automate processes, reporting, self service capability and associated training to improve the end user experience and operational efficiency
  • Lead the systems solution design (people, process, data and technology), change management and training for future releases/modules ensuring it meets the business requirements
  • Manage system implementation risks ensuring mitigation plans are in place
  • Train and mentor P&C team members on data analytics tools and techniques to build capability and drive a culture of data-driven decision-making
  • Implement solutions to help ensure compliance against Enterprise Agreement, Modern Awards and job role essential requirements

About you

  • Extensive experience designing and implementing solutions to track and report on people metrics
  • Experience and familiarity with Power BI, Tableau or similar data visualisation systems,
  • Workday and Moodle experience is desirable, but not essential
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
  • Proficiency in process improvement, change and project management
  • A Strategic mindset with the ability to pivot with the needs of the business
