We currently have permanent part-time opportunities for enthusiastic and committed people to join our hardworking teams at our group homes in Sydney's Northern Beaches. Locations include but are not limited to Narraweena, Beacon Hill, Mona Vale, Cromer, Belrose, Elanora Heights and Forestville. You will likely work across 1 and in some instances 2 or 3 sites providing variety and different experiences.

We have shifts spanning mornings, afternoons, evenings and overnight (Awake) shifts.

Ideally looking for people with related professional experience or lived experience, however people with the right attitude and willingness are also welcome to apply.

You will have comprehensive training throughout your orientation, with ongoing learning and development. This includes:

  • Specialist training opportunities
  • Buddy shifts with CPA's experienced Disability Support Workers
  • Opportunity to complete a nationally recognised qualification such as Certificate III in Individual Support and/or a Certificate IV in Disability.

Your duties will include:

  • Delivering personalised support in a group home setting
  • Providing in home support by assisting clients at meal times, with personal care and administering medication
  • Assisting with domestic duties around the home
  • Supporting clients to engage and participate in their community
  • Socialise and build a happy and positive relationship with our clients
  • Using CPA minivan to transport clients if applicable

Requirements

  • NSW Driver's License
  • Live locally to Northern Beaches and the surrounding suburbs
  • Flexibility to work across a variety of shift times as we operate 24/7
