Our therapy teams work with individuals and families to maximise their participation in the community.

Cerebral Palsy Alliance operates from 132 sites throughout metropolitan, regional and rural NSW and the ACT.

About the role

Disability Support work is a fulfilling and rewarding career. We have casual roles available at Umina, Long Jetty and Wyong. (We also have permanent positions at Umina).

Duties include:

  • Delivering personalised support in a group home (supported independent living) setting
  • Providing home support by supporting our clients at meal times, with personal care and administering medications
  • Assisting with domestic duties around the home
  • Supporting our clients to engage and participate in their community
  • Socialising and building a happy and positive relationship with our clients.

About you

  • Be available for three shifts per week - we are flexible if you are available for just morning shifts or just afternoon shifts or evening shifts.
  • Have previous experience in Disability, Nursing or Aged Care
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Be empathetic, compassionate and have emotional intelligence
  • Ability to thrive in a team environment
  • Have a professional approach be proactive and show initiative
  • Must have a current NSW Drivers Licence (P2 Minimum) and access to a car
  • Must be COVID-19 double vaccinated
