Our people enable the Courts Group to deliver on each jurisdiction's own strategic priorities while also pursuing strategic opportunities that are interconnected and deliver benefits more broadly.
The County Court of Victoria plays a key role in delivering justice for the Victorian community and we are committed to improving justice outcomes for First Nations people by embedding self-determination, cultural safety and respect across the Court.
The Self-Determination Strategy and Reform team, within the Office of the CEO, leads this work, including delivery of the Court's inaugural Self-Determination Cultural Change Plan. This work aligns with the Aboriginal Justice Agreement, which guides how we partner with Victorian Aboriginal communities to improve justice outcomes.
We recognise the strength, knowledge and leadership of First Nations people and are committed to creating a culturally safe, supportive and inclusive workplace where First Nations staff can thrive.
Reporting to the Principal Advisor, you will support the delivery of projects and initiatives that strengthen self-determination and strengthen how the Court works with Victorian Aboriginal people and communities.
This role is a great opportunity to contribute to meaningful, long-term change. You will help turn strategy into action by supporting projects, working with stakeholders and contributing to reform that aims to create a more culturally safe and responsive justice system.
