Working within the fiXit social enterprise, you will assist with the day to day running of the workshop while ensure trainees are given the best possible start to their career in the automotive industry. This role is designed for a mechanic who wants to make a difference.
Accredited by Social Traders, fiXit social enterprise provides a service to the local community through the provision of service and repair of vehicles (handbook servicing), the collection of donated vehicles for restoration, sale and/or donation to individuals in need.
This is a full-time, 2-year fixed-term position that can be spread over 4-5 days, and will be based at our North West office in Braybrook. Travel to our South East workshop in Dandenong, will be required.
This position is classified in accordance with the Vehicle Repair Services and Retail Award 2020 RS&R Level II R7 with the salary range and the level to be commensurate with the skills and experience.

This role is considered an ‘authorised worker’. Successful applicants will be required to provide evidence of an immunisation assessment and COVID-19 Vaccination (or valid exemption) prior to commencement.
