We have an exciting full time, permanent vacancy for an experienced Housing Officer to join the Unity Housing team managing a Specialist Disability Housing Portfolio (SDHP). You will play a key role in supporting people with a disability to live in safe, accessible housing that is suited to their lives. Reporting to the Senior Manager, SDHP you will be responsible for providing tenancy management services to tenants across South Australia. You will be an integral part of the tenancy service delivery team, building strong relationships with tenants, service providers and internal teams to support holistic and tenant-focused outcomes.
The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience delivering high quality tenancy management services with expertise in Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). In addition, you will have proficient service delivery, time management and communication skills, along with excellent stakeholder engagement and development skills and a comprehensive understanding of the Residential Tenancies Act. Candidates with a Social Housing, Disability or Community Services qualification will be held in high regard.
