Choices® CBS programs are seeking a full-time Senior Recreation Officer to work predominantly with our Coastal Choices programs providing high support to adults with complex needs. The successful applicant must be reliable, demonstrate a high level of initiative and model the values and attitudes consistent with the CBS Inc. philosophy.

We are seeking the following qualities, skills or experience:

• Experience in program development, delivery and review
• Empathetic and caring attitude to people with a disability
• Proactive self-starter with good decision making
• Able to maintain privacy, confidentiality and dignity of clients
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to write case notes, with training provided
• Basic administration and computer skills
• Energy and a sense of humour
• Certificate III in Disability or higher desirable​
• Current full driver's licence
• Working with Children's Check and Disability Screening
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Current Manual Handling Certificate
