About the role

Lead the implementation of the Lived/Living Experience Strategy to strengthen and grow lived experience roles across the organisation. Drive inclusive workforce practices across recruitment, onboarding, role design and support, using lived experience to inform organisational improvement through a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach.

Your duties include:

  • Lead improvements to recruitment, role design and onboarding practices for lived/living experience positions to ensure equitable, accessible and consistent workforce processes
  • Lead initiatives that improve workforce readiness, cultural safety and psychological safety for employees with lived/living experience
  • Support learning and development initiatives that strengthen lived/living experience practice, workforce capability and career progression across cohealth
  • Lead lived/living experience expertise to program design and service improvement initiatives to ensure lived/living experience perspectives are meaningfully reflected in co-design service models and workforce innovation

Our ideal candidate:

  • Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in a related field, with demonstrated knowledge or experience in lived/living experience practice, peer work, co-design or consumer leadership
  • Strong understanding of culturally safe, psychologically safe and inclusive practice
  • Experience leading workforce policy, recruitment, onboarding, role design or related people systems in a complex environment
  • Demonstrated commitment to health and social equity and to working in ways that reflect cohealth’s values and human rights-based approach
