Co. As. It. is seeking part time Community Aged Care Workers to assist older Italians in their homes to maintain their independence. Applicants will be required to undertake a functional pre-employment assessment and a nationally coordinated criminal history check (NCCHC).

Assistance with the attainment of Certificate III in Home and Community Care will be offered to successful applicants.

Duties: Provision of support and care to the elderly, provision of assistance with meal preparation, respite care, social outings, transport, shopping, light housework, and personal care.

Selection Criteria:

• Experience in aged care or disability
• Commitment to ongoing training
• Current NSW drivers licence and reliable car.

Desirable:

• Certificate III in Aged Care
• Fluency in Italian or other languages
