About the Role

CLRS has an exciting new role for a passionate and creative professional to join our growing team.

Work directly with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the Executive Assistant the Communication officer and  be responsible for:

• Development, implementation and maintenance of communications covering social media, websites, publications, relevant data base contact lists and reports.
• Providing ongoing up to date and responsive communications for the organisation, managing CLRS’s social media and website(s) presence, overseeing outgoing communications.
• Strengthening sector and community awareness of CLRS.
• Ensuring all communication is undertaken in line with CLRS policy positions.
• Supporting the delivery of events and activities which facilitate effective communication with all CLRS stakeholders.

About You

Ideally, you will have Tertiary qualifications in Communications or a related field or a minimum 2 years of relevant experience. 

You will have a proven track record of success in communications and event management, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ideally you will also have a strong understanding and experience with website and social media management and administration.
