I am a woman in my 40s who lives with my family in the Eastern Suburbs. My interests include visiting botanical gardens, the beach, central markets and short getaways from city life. It is essential to have people around me who can recognise and enhance the aspects of my life that are important to me.

I am looking to move into my own home in North Adelaide and would like someone to join my support team who could provide a long-term commitment to walk this journey with me and my family. Building a respectful and trusted relationship with myself and my family is critical to being the right person for this role.

I am seeking a mature person in the role of Key Support Worker - the role includes assistance with rostering other workers, general administration tasks, leading and training my support team and building my community connection when transitioning to my new home.

In partnership with my family and support team, you will work across a 7-day roster that requires flexibility and reliability. Other duties include providing personal care, helping me recover from occasional seizures, and assisting with communication, household tasks including laundry, meal preparation/cooking, and cleaning. You will also enable me to use my interests to build and sustain relationships to connect with and contribute to my community.

The role is paid at level 2.3 casual rate: currently $40.46 per hour, normal weekday hours. Salary Packaging may become available as your role grows.
