We have a fantastic opportunity for a passionate and community-focused Financial Counsellor to join our Family & Community Services team.
Reporting to the Service Lead Family & Community Services, you will provide financial counselling, advocacy and support to individuals, families and small businesses across the Perth metropolitan area. Working within the Financial Wellbeing Collective, you will assist clients experiencing financial hardship by providing information, options and practical strategies to help them navigate financial and debt-related challenges.
You will also build strong relationships with community organisations and stakeholders, contribute to community education initiatives and support positive financial wellbeing outcomes for our community.)
We’re seeking a compassionate and experienced Financial Counsellor with a strong commitment to empowering people through financial education, advocacy and support.
You will have the ability to manage complex client matters, provide professional advice and work collaboratively with community organisations and partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes.
Besides demonstrated experience, you’ll need to have:
Salary and Benefits: Salary range from Level 5 Step 1 – Step 4 ($93,945.25 - $99,660.24) of the City of Cockburn Industrial Agreement 2025, based on qualifications and experience.
