Role Overview

As the Chief Financial Officer you will assume a critical leadership role in our organisation.

Building on the experiences developed throughout your executive career you will be an:

• active member of the Executive team

• organisational leader managing key functions including finance, asset management and systems
• an individual contributor, providing specialised analysis, perspectives, and technical expertise
• mentor to our leadership team in all aspects of financial management

Your specific responsibilities will include:

• managing all aspects of our financial affairs including, budgeting, forecasting and year end reporting
• providing quality financial guidance and support to the Board, CEO, Executive and Leadership Team
• delivering reporting metrics and variance analysis
• preparing monthly performance reports and financial analysis with commentary on main drivers
• developing strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to improve quality of outcomes
• develop and refine financial models for revenue estimates and related costs
• manage our portfolio of properties and fleet of vehicles
• manage our systems to ensure their effective use throughout the organisation

About you

• You are a qualified accountant (CA/CPA) with demonstrable Executive finance experience
• You have a knack for communicating the story told by the numbers to non-finance executives
• Your analytical mind and eye for detail have been key drivers of success in your career to date
• You are passionate about improving services for people living with disability and growing organisations in a sustainable manner
