Help drive systemic change and elevate lived experience voices across Victoria’s homelessness sector.

We’re looking for a skilled and values-driven Project Lead to shape a statewide initiative that elevates the voices and leadership of people with lived experience (LE) of homelessness.

In this role, you’ll lead the design and development of a Lived Experience (LE) Register—connecting LE experts with opportunities to influence policy, programs, and community understanding. You’ll also co-design a capability and strengthening program that supports people with lived experience participation and change leadership across the sector.

What you’ll do

  • Design and implement a statewide LE Register linking lived experience expertise to meaningful opportunities
  • Co-design a sector-leading capability program with and for people with lived experience
  • Coordinate engagement and support LE advisors across projects and partnerships
  • Drive community education initiatives that shift attitudes and build understanding
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships across government, sector partners and communities

About you

You’re an experienced project leader with a passion for social change and a strong commitment to amplifying lived experience. You bring:

  • Expertise in co-design, project delivery and stakeholder engagement
  • Experience working in or alongside the human services or lived experience sector
  • Strong communication, collaboration and strategy skills
  • A strengths-based, trauma-informed approach

Lived experience of homelessness or other intersecting lived experience would be highly valued
