We’re looking for a Senior People and Culture Advisor to join us, bringing P&C expertise and genuine care to every part of our organisation.

About you

You are seeking a role where your P&C generalist expertise translates into real impact, practical, timely advice that helps managers and teams do their best work, not just policy for policy’s sake. You have a strong background in employee relations, recruitment and P&C project delivery, and you know how to balance an evidence-based approach with creativity to get things done.

We are looking for someone who has:

• High-level P&C consulting and advisory skills, with the confidence to guide managers and leaders through complex people issues
• Excellent verbal and written communication, with strong facilitation, presentation and influencing skills
• In-depth knowledge of P&C best practice and employment legislation, with a proven ability to lead P&C projects from concept to delivery
• The ability to balance a commercial mindset with the values of a for-purpose organisation

About the role 

Reporting to the Head of People and Culture, you will work closely with people managers and senior leaders across CHOICE to provide proactive, practical P&C solutions throughout the employee lifecycle. You will contribute to the development and delivery of CHOICE’s People and Culture strategic plan.

You will also:

• Provide expert P&C advice and guidance to managers and employees on employee relations, recruitment, performance management, recognition and rewards, remuneration and benefits, organisational change and policy interpretation
• Lead and support P&C projects – from diversity and inclusion initiatives to new P&C systems implementations – that improve the employee experience
• Review, develop and implement P&C policies and procedures, keeping CHOICE compliant and up to date with changes in employment law
• Use P&C metrics and reporting to provide advice that’s data-informed and clearly presented to stakeholders
