ABOUT THE ROLE

This is an unrivalled career opportunity to work at the cutting edge of evaluation and social innovation, working with a high performing team doing meaningful work in sectors such as community-led mental health and wellbeing, family violence and women’s rights and youth pathways inclusive education. The successful candidate will form part of Clear Horizon’s Social Impact team, led by our Founder Dr Jess Dart.

The social impact team works as an evaluation partner to organisations, helping set up their measurement and learning systems and to provide ongoing developmental evaluation inputs. Our partners include foundations, not-for-profits and government organisations across Australia. We partner with social innovators, such as the Australian Centre for Social Innovation (TACSI), foundations and not-for-profits, such as Victorian YMCA, and Junction Australia to help establish and implement social impact measurement and learning systems. 

We are looking for a consultant with experience in evaluation and measurement, particularly quantitative methods (including survey design, implementation, analysis and data visualisation) as well as qualitative approaches. 

The position is ideally based in Melbourne (office in Cremorne). We offer a competitive remuneration package with flexible working arrangements and we are happy to negotiate full-time or part-time work hours with the successful candidate.

ABOUT YOU

You will have a background in a Social Science or a related field, have at least 2 years in a measurement/monitoring and evaluation role, and have at least 1 year of consulting experience.

Ideally you will have research methods experience including mixed-methods approaches, quantitative methods (including survey design, implementation, analysis and data visualisation) and qualitative approaches. It would be awesome if you are familiar with collaborative stakeholder engagement processes and have experience in facilitation.

It is also desirable that you are familiar with social impact measurement or measurement, evaluation and learning planning in community-led mental health, family violence and women’s rights and youth sector / inclusive education.
