An exciting opportunity has arisen for a visionary Chief Executive Officer to continue to build and lead City Mission into the future as the organisation continues to transform, modernise and grow.

Based in Launceston and reporting to the Board, the Chief Executive Officer will manage the overall operations of City Mission, providing inspirational leadership to a high-performing team and fostering a culture of care, growth, innovation, continuous improvement and collaboration. The Chief Executive Officer is responsible for the design, sustainability, and delivery of programs, growing the social enterprise portfolio, implementing the strategic plan, building partnerships with key stakeholders across the community and driving the organisation towards a sustainable and impactful future.

The successful applicant will have likely had CEO experience or substantial experience at a senior level in strategic leadership and operational management, together with a background delivering transformative change in a complex organisation. An ability to continue building the profile and public awareness of City Mission is also required, together with very strong business and commercial acumen, entrepreneurialism, agile thinking, and excellent relationship building and influencing skills. Having a sincere passion for City Mission's mission and values will enhance your ability to make a meaningful contribution and be an effective leader.
