The Champions of Change Coalition is a globally recognised, innovative strategy for achieving gender equality, advancing more and diverse women in leadership, and building respectful and inclusive workplaces. In the strategy, men of power and influence step up beside women leaders. They form a high-profile Coalition to lead and be accountable for change on gender equality issues in their organisations and communities – be they local, national or global.
Our Members cover every major sector of the economy and include representatives from business, government, community, academic and not-for-profit organisations. The Coalition now encompasses 17 groups and over 250 leaders.
The work of the Coalition focuses on shifting the systems of gender inequality in the workplace and is backed by a proven methodology for increasing the representation of women in organisations and developing the conditions and cultures that enable them to thrive. Many of the actions developed and implemented as part of the strategy are now globally accepted standards for organisations wishing to become employers of choice for all.
The Program and Operations Associate works with senior members of the team, supporting each to deliver on specific quarterly and annual programs of work across the Champions of Change Coalition. The role also contributes to the broader Champions of Change Coalition Institute through support developing materials for the program, quarterly meeting operations, CRM and impact data management as well as undertaking ad hoc projects that may arise through the year.
The work undertaken is varied and includes working with Members to conduct primary and secondary research, analysis and development of insights on a wide variety of topics such as; everyday sexism and sexual harassment; psychological safety; influencing gender equality through the value chain and creating truly flexible workplaces.
On a quarterly basis, the role supports senior leaders in managing key meetings and other operations. This includes preparing papers; attending meetings; minute taking; preparing papers for distribution; CRM updates; event support and cross-coalition knowledge management.
The role is a full time role however can be managed as a job share and is fully flexible.
You will hold a bachelor’s degree in commerce; communications; business; law; science; arts or similar and have been working for approximately 3 years in a complex/moderately complex corporate environment in either an internal or externally facing role.
